This is the basic setup used for the additional photography I shot for Enemy at the gates.
The job as first to shoot a whole bunch of flags against green screen in lighting that matched the size of the original shots, we shot with the same serial number lenses to get as close a physical match as we could. We then shot over the shoulder sniper shots against green to match PoV shots that had been shot originally so they could change the shots from PoV to over the shoulder.
Finally we shot a sequence building up the reputation of the soviet sniper. This is the lighting for that sequence. I was to match exteriors shot in Germany.
The original shoot was with 6mtr square soft sources but the software will only do a maximum of 4mtrs. On the non Green Screen material we used smoke. This is the software that I use to generate these images.
