What are some cliches that you wish didn’t exist? I’m mostly referring to things like certain lighting types for certain locations; certain color palettes for specific genres; etc. For example, think the stylized yellow hard-light look often applied to scenes set in Central America, and perhaps the way blue is often used in Sci-fi. I’m not disagreeing with how it’s used, I think it’s often necessary to provide a ‘feel’ for a space - but the question is; is there a better way to do it?
What are some unspoken – or spoken – rules that should be broken? Are there rules that get broken that shouldn’t?
Minor editing to remove faffing about while getting screen sharing to work.
