They show the behavior of Red One

+ 18-50 Red zoom at 35mm   and Red + 35mm Cooke S4.
I send f8 pictures because it is the best stop for the Red zoom (an answer to Jean Marc Ferriere), but the 2 lenses were tested at all stops.
The scale of the chart is in hundred of lines per height of picture, which is the only way to compare directly pictures from different origins.

 

Of course, visual tests are legitimate as we make pictures, but MTF are much more precise, objective and full of informations. Have a look at the Cooke curve at f2.8...

For the MTF curves, the scale is in cycles or LP per mm.
