The effect of compression on keying

Shot in Perth during my workshop tour these frames show the effect of compression and noise on keying

The Alexa frames are both ProRes and RAW and the C500 are MXF and RAW

I believe the difference in colour between the C500 MXF and RAW are due to different setups for RAW and MXF, I suspected that this may be possible but this seems to prove it!

Of course the MXF frames are hugely compressed a second of the data that format uses will hold 3 frames of RAW!

The thumbnails are graded slightly to make them look better but the DPX files are untouched log
